Dr. Kennedy began her educational career in 1979. She received her Bachelor’s of Science from West Virginia State University in Health and Physical Education, her Master’s in Educational Administration, a Specialist degree in Educational Administration from Troy State University, and a Doctoral degree from the University of Phoenix in Educational Leadership.
Dr. Kennedy has been a teacher of K-12, a K-12 Administrator, an Educational Coordinator and a College Professor. She has spearheaded a Special Education Program and is responsible for New Teacher Training/Orientation and After School Programs. She has been recognized in Who’ Who, KAPPA Delta PI (an international Honor Society in Education).
Dr. Kennedy is passionate about helping students become successful and acquiring the necessary skills to get to the next level. She has been President and Founder of The Silver Educational Consulting, LLC (SEEC) since 2008. The firm has been a State Supplemental Provider over the last three years and has been successful in raising test scores in over twenty counties throughout South Carolina. Dr. Kennedy’s has a desire and aspiration for reaching out to Special Need children and their families. She provides counseling to families around the Midlands, PeeDee area and throughout South Carolina.
She is the mother of two wonderful adult children, one of which is an Autistic Angel dear to her heart. Her love and desire for Special Need students to help them acquire the education they need and to assist them in becoming as independent as possible.
